LSC: The Leadership Skills for Crews (LSC) course was created to help Venturers learn and practice the attitudes and skills good leaders demonstrate. Practicing and mastering these skills within the crew will provide Venturers with positive leadership experiences in and outside of the crew. This course consists of a series of lessons divided into three modules: Leading Self, Leading Others, and Leading Crews. It is recommended that the modules be conducted in the order listed.

Kodiak: Kodiak is designed to be an adventure that pushes the boundaries of every participant— one that will encourage you to try new things that may be out of your comfort zone. It is an experience—but one that has its underpinnings in the application of the leadership skills they learned in the Introduction to Leadership Skills for Troops or Crews, NYLT, and/or NAYLE. It is, as is all of Scouting, an adventure with a purpose.

Youth Protection: Youth protection is of paramount importance to the Boy Scouts of America. Recognizing that this commitment requires sustained vigilance, the BSA has continued to develop and enhance its efforts to protect youth, regularly consulting with experts from law enforcement, child safety, psychology, and other disciplines to ensure its efforts consistently evolve along with the ever-changing awareness of the dangers and challenges facing youth. The BSA takes a multi-layered approach to youth protection: (1) local selection of adult volunteers with the support of the national organization, (2) education and training, and (3) clear policies such as no "one on one" activities, and immediate reporting of any concerns.

Venturing Advisor Position Specific Training: This course is intended to provide Venturing crew Advisors with the basic information they need to help youth leaders manage a crew.
